Memories are the anaesthesia to escape reality. The painkillers to this hoax and hurtful life that we call a beautiful world. The doorway to the past, where life was so much more beautiful than the present. The way that leads to heaven far far away from the doorway to hell.

Unforgettable memories, lonely memories. Memories giving us a reason to live. Running wildly on the grass racing our hearts out or carving the graphite into beautiful letters to see who the fastest is, when in doubt. Memories of innocence, naughtiness of childhood, blooming wisdom of adolescence; laying under the moon with a blanket of stars, fearless of the world, free from the sleepless nights. The smell of the first rain, the paper boats running down the drain; the wildness of the first childhood friendship with a promise to stick forever. The one with the flowing eyes like rain, the one with all sweet pain.

All the childhood memories took no time to vanish into thin air, like a dark cloud on a  windy day. However, like every dark cloud, this too has a silver lining, which gives spurts of joy and leaves you smiling. Only if you remember in your busy hustle bustle of life to take time out to create these sweet memories to remember it later in life.

I sit in the park running down the memory lane, remembering all those times I spent laughing and giggling away. But now all that is left are abandoned swings and faded memories. Searching for the friends that were dearest to the heart, during life never knew when they went apart. Hoping to meet and laugh with them again, creating new memories for the rest of the life... and gain.
